Introducing: The Plum Ginger

Ingredients

º 1.5 oz Gin

º 1 oz Cointreau

º Spritz of fresh lime juice, or lemon, depending on the taste.

º Top with ginger beer, or soda, for a sparkling effect.

º Garnish with crystallized ginger and not-yet-sweet plum, thinly sliced, for a sweet and spicy kick.

Instructions

1. Fill a shaker with ice, add gin, Cointreau, and lime juice.

2. Shake well and strain into a tall glass over fresh ice.

3. Top with ginger beer.

4. Garnish with a piece of crystallized ginger and a slice of unripe plum (or ripe depending on how sweet you want it).
